Terms of Service
Last updated 2026-07-05
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Credlark (the “Service”). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.
What the Service is — and isn’t
Credlark is an organizational tool that helps you track professional licenses, continuing-education (CE) credits, renewal deadlines, and related certificates, and sends you reminders you configure. Credlark is not legal advice, licensing advice, or a substitute for the official rules of your state licensing board. Renewal cycles, CE requirements and deadlines can change, and you remain solely responsible for confirming requirements with your board and for timely, accurate renewal of your own license. We work hard to keep requirement data accurate and cited (see our methodology page), but we do not guarantee it is complete, current or error-free, and reminders are a courtesy, not a guarantee against a missed deadline.
Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your login credentials confidential. You’re responsible for activity that happens under your account. Tell us right away at support@credlark.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
Plans & billing
Credlark offers the following plans: Solo (free), Professional ($9/month), Firm ($29/month). Paid plans are billed monthly in advance via Stripe and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your billing settings; your paid features remain active through the end of the period you’ve already paid for, and no partial-month refunds are issued except where required by law. We may change prices going forward, with notice before your next renewal.
Acceptable use
Don’t use the Service to store data you don’t have the right to store, to attempt to access other users’ accounts or data, to reverse-engineer or scrape the Service, or to interfere with its normal operation. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.
Your data
You own the license, CE and certificate data you enter into Credlark. We use it only to operate the Service for you, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can export or delete your data at any time from your account.
Disclaimers & limitation of liability
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Credlark and its team are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including a missed renewal, lapsed license, or licensing board penalty, even if we were advised of the possibility of such damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Termination
You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms or for non-payment on a paid plan, with reasonable notice where practical.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. If we make a material change, we’ll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you by email before it takes effect.
